Beautiful celestial globe with figurative constellations. Germany, around 1915, unmarked, the globe is a papier-mâché sphere covered with 12 color-lithographed paper segments, the constellations depicted figuratively and with German and Latin lettering, brass semicircular meridian with 2 x 90° graduation, high turned wooden base with embedded compass. Diameter: approx. 33 cm. Height: approx. 67 cm.
