Avant-garde - Japan - Fumon, Gyo. Yanagiya. No. 25 With a cover designed in color by Gyo Fumon and numerous illustrations. Yanagiya Garo, 1924. 40 pp. 22 x 15 cm. Illustrated original paperback (somewhat stained, small loss and stain due to oxidized stapling).
The Japanese artist Gyo Fumon (1900-1940) founded the first futurist artists' association in Japan "Miraiha�Bijutsu�Kyokai" in 1913. "... within month the group would attract a great deal of attention when they were joined by David Burljuk (1882�1967) and Victor Palmov (1888�1929), who arrived on 1 October 1920 in Japan, staying for about two years." (Schichler, Manuel. From - Futurism, Dada, Avantgarde and Imprisoned. Japan's Early Approach to Modern Art, 2020). - Slightly dog-eared, otherwise in good condition.
