This rare exhibition catalog contains drawings by the Japanese artists Nobuyuki Shimizu, Yasunori Suzuki and Ichiro Fukuzawa (1898-1992). The painters exhibited drawings made on a journey through Manchuria and Mongolia in Ginza, Tokyo in November 1935. Ichiro Fukuzawa, represented here with 9 drawings, is credited with establishing Surrealism in the Japanese art scene of the early 1930s. - Stained endpapers, block, broken several times due to oxidized stapling, slightly browned, slightly stained in places.
