Coat for an officer of the 158th Bruyères infantry regiment in blue-horizon troupe wool. Collar tabs in gold piping on a blue-horizon background, interior in striped sateen. Coat name, nameplate dated 1915. A few minor repairs, sleeves untucked at the armpits, otherwise very good condition.
This coat belonged to Captain Adolphe Schnell, who served throughout the First World War. He served successively in 1914 with the 1st Foreign Regiment, then in 1915 with the 158th RI and the 74th RI, ending the war with the 24th Infantry Regiment.
