Fine ISPAHAN carpet on silk chain, (Persia), circa 1930/40
Dimensions : 232 x 144cm.
Technical features: Wool velvet on silk backing.
A delicate ivory, emerald and navy floral rosette is set on an old rose field of fine ivory and bluish flower stems. The sky-blue main border is framed by two navy and two ivory counter-borders. All four are in plant continuations.
