FERAHAN carpet woven in the workshops of the master weaver "MUSTAHAFIE" (Persia), mid-19th century
Dimensions : 290 x 145cm.
Technical features: Wool velvet on cotton foundation.
A navy field, with small "chess pieces", hosts a multitude of multicolored floral scrolls, forming "subliminal" medallions. Four counter borders with floral garlands frame the main pistachio border with interlacing stems and polychrome blossoming corollas.
