Percussion shotgun, two shots.
Table-top barrels. Front locks signed "POTTET AINE A PARIS 1825" and hammers engraved with foliage and quivers. Bedplate and trigger guard engraved with trophies of arms.
Partially checkered walnut stock. Numbered 15 on the trigger guard tail, in gold.
Presented in a varnished walnut case with engraved brass cartouche "Mr de la Doubart à Nancy Meurthe". Wrapped in green velvet, with accessories: double bullet mold, screwdriver, capsule box, copper powder flask.

POTTET Clément, active in Paris between 1818 and 1855. Former apprentice to Pauly, winner of several medals. His brother worked under the name Pettet Deleusse.
History :
Doubart de la Couppe, nobility of the Nancy bailliage, including Louis-Jacques-Constantin-Marie de la Doubart de Couppe, born December 8, 1792, knight of the Royal Order of the Legion of Honor, captain in the 5th Regiment of Hussars.
