A Russian-born painter and sculptor, Georges Artemoff (Ourioupinsk, 1892 - Revel, 1965) was an artist with a multi-faceted career.
Trained in Moscow, Russia, then in Paris from 1913, he met most of the artistic milieu of the time (Picasso, Braque, Soutine, Grís, Zadkine) and became a key player in the Montparnasse art scene between the wars.
