Right - Collection of 4 handwritten confirmations, 1 handwritten award of medal and 1 handwritten letter. Each addressed to Gustav Neumann. Mostly dated Berlin, also Tilsit between 1837 and 1853, with original signatures, including 1 from Friedrich Wilhelm IV, King of Prussia. With 2 paper seals, 1 embossed stamp and 1 red seal. 34 x 22 cm, letter 22 x 23 cm. Neumann's appointments to the post of Oberlandesgerichts-Assessor (1837), Rathsherrn und Syndicus beim Magistrat in Tilsit (1847), Staatsanwalt (1850; here the signature of Friedrich Wilhelm IV.) and as 'Justitiarius bei der in Tilsit zu errichtenden Bank' (1851), furthermore a certificate of the award of the 'rother Adler-Orden vierter Classe' (1853) as well as 1 letter from his father, dated '19. Fbr. (19)43'.- Occasional light foxing.
