Circa 1830 - 1950. mostly 1-2 pages on 1 sheet. 1. 15 postcards and 4 letters to Wilhelm Brandes (1854-1928), writer, classical philologist and head of the grammar school in Wolfenbüttel, also biographer of Wilhelm Raabe, the letters and 2 cards are from Rudolf Huch (1862-1943), writer and brother of Ricarda, 7 further cards from Alfred Biese, also from Franz Jüttner, Julius Elster et al.2. 13 postcards to Hermann Voges (1880-1940), Director of the Wolfenbüttel State Archive, including 3 from Otto Hahne, 4 from Otto Krauske, 2 from Heinrich Mack and others. 3. handwritten statutes of the Association for the Care of the Poor and Sick in Wolfenbüttel from 1853. 4. letter from the Brunswick ornithologist Wilhelm Blasius (1845-1912). 5. letter from the painter and local historian Otto Krone (1874-1957). 6. facsimile of the abdication certificate of Ernst August von Braunschweig und Lüneburg from 1918. 7. 1 sheet of prose text by Berchtold Gierer from 1941, pseudonym of the anthropologist and trivial author Walter Scheidt (1895-1976), who received the Wilhelm Raabe Prize of the city of Braunschweig in the same year. 8. also 5 family register sheets of the Dietrich family from Coburg from 1827-28, 2 letters from the North German painter Hans Olde (1855-1917) and numerous other documents.
