Photography - Moulin-Rouge. Théatre Pathé-Natan. Program du 6 Novembre au 12 Novembre 1931. Collection of 7 (4 signed) original photographs of the performers and artists of the variety show. Format 9 x 14 cm to 23 x 15 cm - Interesting collection on Parisian nightlife in the 1930s, showing the artists of the revue at the Moulin Rouge in November 1931. Included are signed portrait photographs, each with a dedication to the colleague 'Tutti', by George Dormende ('D'Ormonde - Le cycliste humoriste'), the Köhler brothers ('Les 7 Alfredos - Acrobates à la bascule'), Harold W. Winston and Marlis Kittsteiner ('Captain Winston's ses naiades et ses phoques'/'Winston's Water Lions and Diving Nymphs'), furthermore 2 photographs of Winston's trained sea lions as well as 1 photograph showing Winston and the two 'nymphs' Marlis Kittsteiner and 'Tutti' (Gertrud) 'backstage'. Also enclosed is the 4-page program booklet of the variety show (in French) - Photographs with silvering and traces of mounting on verso, program with small marginal tear.
