Janus Andreas La Cour (1837 Ringkøbing - Odder/Jutland 1909), View of Lake Albano with the papal residence Castel Gandolfo.
Oil on canvas. (1880s). 31.6 x 44.9 cm. Signed and indistinctly dated "188?" lower right. Framed.
Varnish slightly yellowed. The edges of the image slightly rubbed due to framing. A patch in the lower left corner verso. In good condition.
Provenance: Bruun Rasmussen, Copenhagen, auction, 2.6.1999, lot 419; Kunsthandel Thomas Le Claire, Hamburg, on stretcher with adhesive label; privately owned, Southern Germany.
