In-4, superb full brown morocco mosaic binding decorated with a cornucopia of flowers on the first cover, a wreath of flowers on the lower cover, ornate ribbed spine, gilt headband, slipcase, cover and spine preserved (Vermorel).
Edition of 1000 copies. This is 1 of 100 on Imperial Japanese paper, with a double suite of illustrations and an unpublished watercolor by Madeleine Lemaire (before the false title). Provenance: > Collection Marcel Aubreton
