Koumiyya dagger, Morocco, 20th century Single-edged curved steel blade, "gendarme hat" curved handle trimmed with copper, brass and silver metal plates chased with wavy lines and a cruciform medallion, a motif repeated as a frieze on the copper and brass scabbard flanked by two suspension rings.
