Fire-gilded bronze, white marble, amongst others. Structure in the form of a round temple with a flat plinth and four columns entwined with
laurel, in the centre of which sits a small Cupid with a double flute. The top is finished
with a round marble plate, drapery along the offset edge and the round work between fluted
columns with flames as a finial. The dial is formed by two superimposed enamel chapter
rings with Roman hours and Arabic minutes. At the top of the work is a marble cover with a
bud finial and small snake, which shows the time on the horizontally moving chapter ring.
Verge escapement with two barrels, half-hour and hour strike on a bell below. Height 36cm, ø18,5cm. Enclosed: Key.
