Ancestor figure Cameroon or Gabon, probably late 19th century, dark coloured hardwood, seated male ancestor statue, arms crossed in front of the chest, wearing a pearl necklace around neck and hips, the head decorated with numerous feathers, mounted on a heavy square base, cracked due to drying, traces of age, total height approx. 75 cm.
