A collection of liturgical vestments
from a Franconian priest's estate, mid 20th century, splendid chasubles and stoles made of coloured silk damask, silk and/or brocade fabric with trimmings and extremely fine embroidery, consisting of two chasubles in Roman bass violin form, one in red and gold, the other in cream and light blue with floral gold thread embroidery and large needle painting on the back depicting Mary in the Immaculata Conceptio type, as well as a stole with a protective collar, plus a pluvial with floral and figural needle painting, depicting Jesus as a shepherd on the fringed shield and brass chorus mantle clasp, seven stoles in various lithurgical colours and symbolism, including one with the motto "Jesu via et vita nostra" (Jesus is our way and life) in cross-stitch, detachable tassels and protective collar, minimal signs of age and wear, vesper cloak partially torn due to age, l stole 120 cm each, l cloak 142 cm, w shoulder 50 cm.
