KPM "Ziergefäß fest auf Untersatz, Deckel dazu" designed by Theodor Hermann Schmuz-Baudiss in 1908, decoration designed by Wilhelm Carl Robra in 1909, underglaze blue sceptre mark 1870-1945, cancelled once, embossed model number 9288, further number 1D and year mark (probably for 1911) and brush number 18768, above a six-lobed slightly notched round foot on a compressed nodus and six surrounding small branch supports of globular form, six-moulded body with slip lid and c-shaped curved lid knob, decorated all around with engraved rose decoration of six stylised garlands and single blossoms in a repeat as well as olive green underglaze painting with rose-coloured accents, rare lidded vessel, occasional small burn marks, otherwise good condition, h 21.5 cm.
