Meissen rare "Otter on Rocks"
designed by Paul Walther in 1912, monogrammed, underglaze blue crossed swords mark after 1934, a grinding mark above the swords, incised model number G 246, boss number 124 and brush number 1.naturalistic moulding and underglaze painting, a marten sitting on an irregular rock base, very rare figure, a tiny scratch to the back and a few glaze marks to the underside of the base, otherwise good condition, h 11.5 cm.
