Schlegelmilch Suhl Pair of Art Nouveau handle vases
around 1900, green stamp marks Prov. Saxe E.S., incised model number 511, club-shaped with retracted stand ring, flower-shaped mouth and high-set curved double handles, all-round relief decoration of intertwined bands and vegetal motifs using light and dark green lustre glaze, each with an Art Nouveau beauty smelling of a flower in a polychrome overprint and gold staffage, gold dots and gold rims, decoration partially rubbed, otherwise in good condition for age, h 23.5 cm each.
