Two amphora vases in the old Viennese style
the small porcelain painting Josef Riedl Gießhübl-Karlsbad/Bohemia, around 1900, signed and inscribed in the motif lower left as well as underglaze blue beehive mark, the large vase 2nd half 20th cent, Brushed pseudo mark AB ligatured and number 354, both screwed in several parts, on a square plinth and Ovoid body with high-set handles and funnel neck, each splendidly decorated with cobalt blue ground, figural cartouches and rich gold decoration and gold rims, the large one with polychrome printed cupids on both sides, polychrome printed amoretti scenes as allegories of painting and sculpture after François Boucher, the small vase as a lidded amphora with a mythological scene in polychrome overglaze painting against a gold ground and blue enamel stippling, the gilding of the small vase minimally rubbed, otherwise in good condition, h 24 and 61 cm.
