Meissen "Pressed Glass Pattern" cup and plate, underglaze blue sword marks, smudge period 1815-1860 (plate) and knob period 1860-1924, all 1st choice, incised, embossed and/or brush marks, bell-shaped cup and matching saucer with all-round relief decoration in neo-Gothic style, the cartouches with small floral bouquets and cabochons in fine polychrome overglaze painting, rich bright gold decoration and inner lip gilding, the matching plate with slightly varied decoration and relief floral bouquets. Cabochons in fine polychrome overglaze painting, rich bright gold decoration and inner lip gilding, the matching plate with slightly varying decoration and floral bouquet in relief in the centre, plate gilding partially rubbed and tiny "flea bites" to the underside of the rim, the complete cup in good condition for its age, h 8 cm overall.
