probably after the Höchster model by Johann Peter Melchior (1747-1825), underglaze blue crook mark 1907-1920 and incised model number 3694, naturalistic moulding in polychrome overglaze painting and gold staffage, a man with a bagpipe sitting on an oval stone base in intimate conversation with a lady with a bowl of flowers standing next to him, the flower trimming minimally chipped, otherwise in good condition, h 27.5 cm.
