nude bathers in paradisiacal surroundings reminiscent of South Sea paintings, watercolour on laid paper, signed lower right and not clearly dated "Gaston Lagorre", matted and framed behind glass, sheet dimensions approx. 18 x 16 cm. Artist information: French-Americ. Painter (1913 New York - 2004 Paris), in 1924 the family moved to France, studied at the École des beaux-arts de Toulouse, 1935 awarded the Grand Prix de la ville, from 1954 participated in the exhibitions at the Salon d'Automne, also created numerous frescoes, source: Bénézit and Wikipedia.
