Joseph Mégard, Winter Landscape Partly covered with snow, slightly hilly landscape with some forests and groups of trees, bathed in the warm light of the waning day, partly impasto landscape painting, oil on cardboard, signed lower right "J. Mégard" (partly traced in pencil), on the reverse of the frame labelled and here inscribed "Megard Joseph Carouge 1850-1910/Winterlandschaft in der Umgebung von Genf, auf der Rückseite lokalisiert: à Genève, le bois de la bátie, vue de la jonction, ans 1872...", retouched in the corner area, framed (with losses), folded dimensions approx. 26 x 37.5 cm.
