Fort in-8 of [30]-500-[54] leaves, stamped saddle-skin on wooden boards, boards decorated with a large frame with central crosspieces showing flowers, bronze clasps, binding missing (period binding).
Extremely fine Lyon edition printed in very small 2-column gothic type, with text annotated by Alberto Castellano. The title is adorned with a large red Florentine fleur-de-lys, and the recto of the last page of the liminaires bears a full-page woodcut, which, divided into six parts, shows the 6 days of creation, reproduced by Baudrier. The last leaf is illustrated with a woodcut of Saint Jerome copying a book.
A copy with numerous handwritten annotations, entirely rubricated in red and in a fine contemporary binding (Baudrier XII, 358 quater and 360) (USTC, 145499, 22 ex.).
