Rococo berlock with Karneolgemme
18 ct yellow gold. Profiled cone shape worked àjour, set with polychrome émail en ronde bosse and with a heart-shaped pendant eyelet. Set with a carnelian lug (10.8 - 9.7 mm), the antique-style intaglio with a crowned faun at a sacrificial altar. Not stamped. Enamel chipped several times. H. 2.0 cm. Weight 2.46 g. Original case with gold-stamped leather cover.
