French sewing bag
Silver, gilt. Pointed conical quiver case with vermeil mounting and polychrome enamel decoration. Contents: a pair of scissors with steel blades, an embroidery needle (?) and a vermeil-mounted pencil. Not stamped. Pencil replaced. H 14 cm in total.
Early 19th century.
These cases were sold at the Palais Royal.
