Napoleon III enamel brooch
18 ct rose gold. Convex profiled oval shape. Decorated en plain with a Watteau scene en grisaille on a translucent blue background. Framed all around with diamond roses, a green enamel stripe and a ring of drilled pearls (diameter 3.52 mm). The back decorated with a mother-of-pearl plaque. Stamped: Paris guarantee for gold "tête d'aigle", MZ "FI" in standing lozenge. Enamel minimally chipped on the left edge. 5.5 x 4.6 cm. Weight 29.71 g.
