- Piece commissioned by Sir Michael Kielberg-Kroyer who became Sir Michael Kroyer probably around 1928-1930 for the furnishings of his Stockgrove Park House castle, Bedfordshire, England.

Danish-born shipping magnate and philanthropist, Sir Michael Kroyer-Kielberg was founding chairman of United Molasses.

An art lover, his collections included important works by Sisley, Corot, Pissarro and Epstein. Between 1928
and 1930, he built Stockgrove Park House in Bedfordshire, a property considered to be the last major castle in England.
