Le Cabinet des Muses concludes the series of collective collections published by the Du Petit-Val dynasty. According to Frédéric Lachèvre's count, it contains a total of 331 pieces: half of them first appeared in the Temple d'Apollon of 1611, and 63 pieces appear here for the first time, including some by Théophile de Viau, Bois-Robert, Jean Baudoin and De Lastre.
