French - Rococo frame
Wood, carved and gilded, with upward and slightly sweeping profile. (Early 18th century). Inner strip with straight cubes, the central and corner-emphasizing cartouches with leaves and volutes. Clear dimensions: 42 x 31.5 cm. Molding width: 5 cm. Outer dimensions: 53 x 42 cm.
Frame and gilding slightly rubbed, with tiny cracks. Verso with individual old wormholes.
Frame and gilding slightly rubbed and bumped. Individual small flaking. With minimal tears in one corner. Tiny holes in the wood (wormholes).
