Folded fan, the skin sheet lined with paper and painted with gouache of Andromeda fighting the sea monster to free Andromeda chained to the rock. Her parents on the left, Cepheus and Cassiopeia, King and Queen of Ethiopia, weep to see her in danger.
Reverse painted with two figures dressed in antique style.
White mother-of-pearl mounting, pierced, carved, engraved, burgued, silvered and gilded with Zephyr and Venus (?).
