A pair of late Victorian pearl and diamond cluster earrings, c.1880, with a pearl peg set to the centre. A border of old European cut diamonds, grain and claw set to a rex style gallery with an incised under bezel to continental hinged fittings. Pearls untested, 5.50 - 6.00mm in size. Tested as approximately 18ct gold. 17.90 x 16.00mm, 8.20g Condition Report: Light surface marks commensurate with its age. Diamonds bright and lively. Some diamonds with a surface reaching inclusions, and indented naturals on a kite facets and crown facets. One diamond with abraded facet edges. The lever part of the fittings are probably a later replacement.
