A blue and pink sapphire, diamond and split pearl... Lot 44

A blue and pink sapphire, diamond and split pearl wreath brooch, the open circle frame composed of alternating rose-cut diamond leaves and seed pearls, one diamond chip deficient, with a central floral cluster of varisized pink and blue sapphires, and an old European diamond, all collet set in white and yellow. Mounted in silver and gold, pin and 'C' catch to verso, 25mm diameter, 5.45g Condition Report: Sapphires and ruby all have inclusions suggesting a natural origin. Pearls untested. Central motif possibly later added and of a higher purity gold. Mount testing as 9ct gold & silver. A small diamond chip is missing from one of the foliate collets.
