Head of the nymph Arethusa on the left, hair up in a fishnet tied on the forehead by an ampyx bearing the artist's signature K(imon). She is adorned with dangling earrings and a pearl necklace. Below the neck, KIMΩN on the dolphin. Around the rim, four dolphins and the legend ΣΥΡΑΚΟΣΙΩN.
R/. Quadriga of horses led at a gallop by an charioteer holding reins and kentron. Niké flying above crowns the charioteer. In exergue, cuirass between two cnemids, shield, spear, Athenian helmet. [Under the cuirass, AΘΛΑ].
