A glass, long-necked, Unguentarium of possible Roman design. Item dates CA 2nd or 4rd Century AD. Unguentaria were typically used as containers for oil, but also suited in the use of dispensing liquid and powder. This specific unguentarium is dirty both on the interior and exterior. Ancient Rome - CA. 2nd or 4rd Century AD Dimensions: H: 6 3/4 in., (17.1 cm) Unguentarium is in great condition overall except for the crack on the base of the bottle which has signs of repair.
