A Hellenistic glass skyphos dated to approximately the first century BC. The skyphos is of the characteristic shape with thumbholds affixed to the sides of the cup and a flared base. It is made entirely of glass with a beautiful iridescent sheen often seen in examples which were buried, having been caused by the chemical process undergone because of the soil.

Evidence of previous breakage and subsequent repair, all pieces appear to be original. Some wear across surface due to age. Iridescence due to burial present throughout piece.
