Chased, glazed-polished iron mounting. Guard with two auricles and two long quillons ending in tassels.
Damascus-style engraved blade, strongly curved, flat-backed and counter-edged, finely engraved on the heel with trophies of arms, military attributes, scenes and cavalry charges on a pyramid background.
Chagrin-covered wooden scabbard with metal stitching and two large, cut-out and engraved iron fittings. On the cap, the number "CR" interlaced within a shield stamped with two eagles surrounded by foliage and horns of plenty, marked on the back "Coulaux Frères à Klingenthal".
Long bouterolle decorated with a head carried by two fantastical animals, foliage, flowers and helmets and with two bracelets and two suspension rings, the upper one decorated with the eagle.
