CHRISTOPHE LABARDE (b. 1961) Nataly, religious, one-of-a-kind piece signed on the back by the artist, made in Germany at WhiteWall Laboratories (World's Best Photo Lab 2024, TIPA World Award 2024) Print on Fuji Crystal Archive glossy professional paper, 70 x 70 cm without margin (Exterior dimensions: 70 x 70) Photo print in Plexiglas (2 mm acrylic glass, glossy), Mounted on 3 mm Dibond, Wall mountings included. Nataly, 12, grew up in San Francisco in a family of Swedish origin.
Although her parents were not particularly religious, she showed signs of great faith from an early age. She was encouraged in this by her aunt, whom she accompanies to mass every Sunday.
Enrolled in catechism classes, Nataly is convinced that her vocation is to become a religious and devote her life to serving God and her community.
Even today, she regularly takes part in charitable activities organized by her church, and helps her neighbors distribute food to the homeless. Although her parents are still skeptical about the irreversibility of this commitment, Nataly is determined to pursue her vocation.
