Clay Tibet 15th - 16th century Dimensions: Height 17 cm Wide 16 cm Depth 6 cm with base Weight: 2036 grams with base Clay relief with decorative background containing a small seated Buddha in a circular aureole in the upper left corner, an animal can be seen on the right side. The center has a negative alcove with a deity standing with slightly bent knees. Wearing flowy garments the deity is holding a staff and a vessel in his hand. He is smiling. A four-legged animal, possibly a lion, is standing next to him.
