BUDDHA WITH ADORANTS Grey schist Gandhara 4th century Dimensions: Height 18,8 cm Wide 21 cm Depth 4 cm with base Weight: 2.257 grams with base Seated Buddha on a throne with legs crossed and hands in his lap, dhyanasana pose. He is wearing a robe over his body. Two adorants are seated with one knee on lotus flowers beside him, their hands in prayer position and faces gazing towards Buddha. All three have circular aureoles.
