1922-1940 ca. MANUSCRIPT: (MUSIC). ALBUM WITH NUMEROUS WRITINGS SIGNED BY EMILI VENDRELL YBARS AND SOME ADDRESSED TO HIM. All writings presented on album leaves. The first of them is a photograph of the composer with a handwritten dedication from him to the maestro Joan Aymeric. The next document is issued by the diocese of Barcelona and by which the excommunication in which Emilio Vendrell had incurred by belonging to a Masonic lodge is lifted. These are followed by other documents related to the musician's political life, such as a request to publish a work, a temporary suspension of his banishment sentence, many poems handwritten and signed by him in the 1920s, the lot includes a notebook where the artist entitles an article 'la canço popular' and contains the draft with corrections. The lot is completed at the end of the album with a small musical composition signed by Eduard Toldrà in 1928, and some typewritten pages with speeches by Vendrell himself. Very interesting set, to deepen the knowledge of an artist who after the civil war did not have easy to return to his professional activity.
