Gabonese Kota reliquary in wood, African, on a square wooden stand, related to the predominant ancestral cult, the Kota and the Mahogwe, who lived in the dense forests of northeastern Gabon, placed the bones of the clan's founders in a basket topped by a wooden sculpture decorated with thin layers of brass or copper.
