Set of two Kotah studies Black line drawings on paper, one with color highlights India, Rajasthan, probably Kotah, circa 1800 Sight: 12.7 x 19.9 cm and 22.3 x 28.7 cm The first is a color-enhanced drawing, depicting on the left a rider brandishing his saber on a prancing horse, and on the right a man smoking a huqqa, behind whom we can make out the poncif (dotted silhouette) of the rider. The second black line drawing shows a man on a richly adorned horse, with an attendant in front of them.
