Manuscript written in Maghribi script in black ink and polychrome on 5 lines within blue framing fillets. It features ornate polychrome cartouches for the section titles, as well as a double-page spread of illustrations typical of the Dala'il al-Khayrat. The red leather binding is decorated with mandorles and stamped geometric friezes.
The Dala'il al-Khayrat is a text of prayers dedicated to the Prophet Muhammad, compiled by al-Jazuli in the first half of the 15th century, which became one of the most widely distributed texts in the world of Sunni Islam.
