Biography:
A painter of Catalan origin, he lived from childhood in Manila in the Philippines, where he studied at the Beaux-Arts. He has exhibited all over the world, including Paris (where he lived for 50 years), Italy, the United States, England and Mexico. In 1964, his work "Leurs" was voted Impression of the Year by the Cleveland Museum of Art.
His works are represented in numerous private and public collections, including the Smithsonian Institute, the Museum of Modern Art, the Metropolitan Museum in New York, the Musée d'Art Moderne in Paris and many others.
