Gilt bronze and white marble clock. The white enamelled dial with Roman numerals in a floral garland frame, is set in a white marble column surmounted by Love seated on a cloud holding a garland of flowers addressing Psyche while Pan, with his attributes, spies on them from the other side of the column. The semicircular base has four steps.
Louis XVI period (dial and movement changed, small chips and missing parts).

A clock by Balthazar LIEUTAUD (1720-1780), very similar in design to the one shown here, is kept at the Museo
National Museum of Fine Arts in Argentina.
