Victor Prouvé (1858-1943) - Oh! the Bergeret cards. Circa 1903. Draeger printer.111x75cm. Original poster, lithograph, not canvas-backed. Condition A- one lack and small marginal perforations. In 1898, Albert Bergeret set up his phototype workshop in Nancy, and began printing illustrated postcards. Success was immediate. He was a pioneer and innovator in this field.
