In-folio Bradel ½ marbled cardboard, smooth spine, tan chagrin title page (Binding late 19th-early 20th). The maps have been washed and mounted on tabs. Staining, some restorations and small marginal tears. XVIIth ATLAS IN BLACK edited by Mariette after the Flemish cartographer Jodocus HONDIUS (1563-1612). It consists of 63 double-page MAPS engraved on laid paper, including a PLANISPHERE (2 missing pieces restored). Washing has caused most of the maps to lose their inking and contrast. AS IS.
